As Camp Registrar, I am involved in processing all camper applications, camper enrollment and finances, and supporting the Camp Director in all recruiting and other camper and family relations. I also handle the social media accounts and manage the creation and distribution of marketing materials. I enjoy speaking with parents and families via email and over the phone year-round in preparation of sending their daughters to camp. Camp Lochearn is an all-girls premier Vermont summer camp on Lake Fairlee, offering two 4-week sessions and classes in everything from water and land sports to theatre and dance. It is a place that girls can call home and be themselves.

As a student web designer for the University of Florida Foundation, I became proficient in Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Portfolio and Outlook to create html documents for distribution to the alumni of colleges and units on the University of Florida campus.

Cacciatore Catering is the catering company for the University of Florida President. The staff consisted of about forty students who would be responsible for the set-up of events, waiting on guests, clearing tables and breaking down when an event was over. This was a wonderful opportunity for us to interact with donors, faculty and staff of the University of Florida.

I learned in-depth about a variety of nonprofit public relations and community development functions during my time at United Way of North Central Florida. As an intern in fall 2013, one of my main projects was United Downtown, a free friday night tailgate street party in Downtown Gainesville on four selected home games during the Florida Football season. I was in charge of all of the banners and signage of the event -- checking orders, packing, placement, and coordinating volunteers in the process of hanging. I managed social media accounts on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, including a social media campaign for #GivingTuesday. I wrote and updated content for the bi-weekly e-newsletter and quarterly mailing newsletter. I am thankful for the skills and connections I made as an intern at United Way.

As part of the student-run PR firm at the University of Florida, I work on a team of associates doing research and improving communications on an account. Alpha PRoductions is the largest student-run public relations firm in Florida and is currently one of the first five in the nation to meet the Public Relations Student Society of America national affiliation standards. Alpha PRoductions is sponsored by the Public Relations Student Society of America, UF Alpha Chapter.

I had the pleasure of coaching a local high school's dive team during the fall of my junior year. From beginners to intermediates, I trained high school students of all ages and acted as a mentor to them.

During the summer of 2012 I was able to help Camp Crystal Lake, where I have worked as a counselor previously, to improve online communications with campers, parents and other community members. I managed the camp's blog, website, Facebook page and Twitter account. I worked from home and on-site to connect with the camp's audiences.
