Hello there and thanks for stopping by. A little about me… I got into the transportation industry 24 years ago while in college. I started as a school bus operator, moved on to public transportation, then got an opportunity to manage the transportation department at a nonprofit organization. I then took a break from transportation and went to vocational college full time for an 18 month Associate degree program as a Respiratory therapist. When that didn’t work out I ventured into Elder care & Respite care for developmentally disabled children which I really enjoyed. I’m a natural nurturer so it was very fulfilling. Between jobs I was enrolled in junior college taking classes here and there until I figured out what my true calling was. Well because of financial reasons I resorted back to the transportation field where it provided me with stability. After so many years in the same field I realized I’m capable of doing many other things and shouldn’t limit myself. So I’ve decided recently that I need to use my God given talents as my contribution to this world. My passion is helping others. I enjoy working with the general public, although it’s extremely difficult at times I love a good challenge. Just being out in the community, working towards the better good for us all and being resourceful in any way I can. To me, It’s an honor being able to do something your spirit loves to do day in and day out. One random epiphany later, I’d made the decision to pursuit my calling fully. A career change, especially at my age, is intimidating but I know given a chance there’s a great reward waiting at the end. Thank you for your valuable time and reading my brief 😉 bio (smile)
