Kath is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years accounting experience and now specialising in growing small businesses through Virtual CFO services, making business simpler, more focussed and more profitable. Prime focus currently is working to support Mark Cranny in our venture, Intellective.  My part time role encompasses Business Management as well as client work as required.  Having completed a Bachelor of Business (Accountancy) at QUT I took my first role in the Audit Division of KPMG Brisbane.  This role provided me with a broad understanding of businesses both large and small.  Whilst completing studies to become a Chartered Accountant I chose to specialise in the Audit of Self Managed Superannuation Funds.    Roles that I took on during a working holiday in England included: Project Accountant for Swiss Bank Corporation,  Review of Organisational structure for MEDAS, a subsidiary of the BBC and Acting Financial Controller of the London office of Societe General, a French Merchant Bank.  Back in Brisbane I took on the role of Accountant for Phillips Fox Lawyers and was involved in major accounting and system based projects to cater for the national amalgamation  of the firm as well as accounting for GST.    Have grown in life experience by becoming the mother to 4 amazing boys who teach me new things every day.
