Member and co-convenor of the team selected by the Green Party's executive to negotiate the best possible outcome to advance Green solutions in the formation of the new government, following the September 2017 NZ general election. Role included contributing to negotiation strategy development, political and policy analysis, facilitation of the group's processes and culture, organisation of workflow and session agendas, advising on delegate communications. Helped present negotiated outcome to 175 members' delegates in video conference Specially Convened Meeting. Group Co-convenor alongside Roland Sapsford jointly responsible for leading consensus processes in the group. Worked closely with the other volunteers, MPs, Party co-leader and Parliamentary staff on the group. Helped change the government to one better for the most vulnerable in our society, for nature and for the climate.

Convened the formation and first two years' operation of the Green Party's new Fundraising and Marketing team (FunMark), with support of a fellow convenor. The national volunteer committee recruited and set the strategic direction for a senior fundraising staff member as well as establishing and delivering a fundraising programme that doubled income to almost $1m in the run up to the 2014 general election.

Supported CEO as part of Advisory Board providing feedback and business strategy advice. Resigned position to avoid conflict of interest with new GoodSense client.

Volunteer on national Campaign Committees for election campaigns in 2008 and 2011. Lead role in developing strategy and improved communications for greater electorate cut through and MP growth from 7 to 14.

Management team role leading strategy and marketing communications for launch of web-based loan brokerage service. Led planning, website, marketing communications and lead generation activity achieving ahead of targets in a new market space. Introduced numerous new digital marketing tactics to the NZ environment such as Web Chat for online selling, and participation in public chat forums to build the brand, as well as blending more traditional direct response and email communications with new web technologies.

Led marketing communications team for pioneering direct response business. Specific projects included developing the organisation's online presence, including online banking, management of the multi-brand strategy of ergo/AMP Banking and specific initiatives using culture-building and contact centre relationships to drive sales efficiency and customer loyalty.

Headed the accounts team responsible for all direct response and digital communications for Air New Zealand, pioneering email marketing with the company and doubling the size of the account inside 12 months. Led the pitch process and headed the team working with Microsoft New Zealand, introducing a database-led strategy for SOHO users that was presented as a success highlight at the global Bill Gates summit 2007.

Led accounts team pioneering development of database marketing by FMCG clients Typhoo and Cadbury as well as leading strategy development for financial services clients and new business.

Account management across finance, technology, not for profit and mail order clients, including direct response strategy development and planning.
