Stayed with Lucie's Place past the ending of my AmeriCorps posting. Continued VISTA work and:-trained new hires to take over CRM and grant management-migrated organizational accounts-headed communications with Health and Human Services

-Assisted unhoused LGBTQ+ young adults, working to provide and improve services by heading development at the only shelter and the only resource center for unhoused LGBTQ+ youth in Arkansas-Wrote and managed all grants for Lucie’s Place--Including federal grant writing—wrote and received the organization’s first federal grant at $145k--Managed the federal grant, which involves creating line-item budgets and invoices, training employees,and managing all communications with government agencies-Developed new programs for Lucie’s Place clients-- Designed, developed, and secured funding for a rental and utility assistance program-- Assisted in organizing a community fridge and pantry for all unhoused Little Rock residents- Managed donor relations for the organization, which included CRM database management, communications planning, coordination with donors, as well as fundraiser,campaign, and project development-Provided human resource support and capacity building for staff and volunteers -Oversaw communications, including physical mailers, email list communications, administration of social media accounts, and management of the organization’s website-Planned and coordinated fundraising events and headed collaboration with other LGBTQ+ organizations

-Facilitated the integration of refugees into the Northwest Arkansas community and eased their adjustment to life in the United States-Provided a variety of services including teaching English and assisting in cultural orientation courses-Organized and compiled applications for family reunification, translating information from Spanish to English as needed -Coordinated housing setup, job training, medical appointments, and other needs as they arose-Managed an extensive filing system containing sensitive information
