Exclusive Analysis Ltd (now part of IHS) provided strategic intelligence and political forecasting to support effective risk management for its clients' global investments. Employing 40 head office staff and 500 contractors across the world, the company’s turnover grew from £400k to £2m during my employment, and had a diverse client base (banks, insurers, energy). - Head of the Western Europe analysis team (internally and remotely), directing and managing workflow for over 20 people- Client relationship manager – with direct responsibility for 2 main clients- Developed (researched, wrote & edited) and presented research and analysis reports and fact sheets for clients- Produced bespoke strategic forecasts for clients- Developing and maintaining source networks and capturing all relevant source material for the whole analysis team- Running training sessions for clientsKey achievements:- Presented to 50 Masters (International Relations) at the Centre for European Studies, Harvard- Conducted c.15 live television interviews where I was consulted as a research ‘expert’ on political risks – CNBC, CNN, Bloomberg- Presented to 150 blue chip, investment risk managers at ‘Exporta’ conference on the violent threats facing European countries- Co-wrote a briefing paper given at House of Lords on ‘Global Jihad­ Sunni Extremism’- Published a paper in ‘Jane’s Defence Review’ (an academic commercial publication) on money laundering

- Managing a team of 4 analysts, including development and training- Developing in-depth expertise of Sunni-extremism networks in the UK and helped develop a unique, (later patented) modelling methodology to forecast geo-specific risk- Leading the development, content and publication of the daily Intelligence briefing- Leading Intelligence product development- Leading, training and directing workflow for a remote team of 20 intelligence analysts working in India- Managing, preparing and developing conference presentations for analysts teams across the firm - Management of intern recruitment and selection process, and subsequent mentoring programme.
