    Since graduating from Penn Graduate School of Education's PRMT (now BSTR/ISTR), I have worked as online instructor for the program's blended-model Residency Ms. Ed. degree program. The position has required me to build and communicate group expectations and schedules for both synchronous and asynchronous work to ensure clear and usable curriculum across Google, BlueJeans, Zoom, and other online platforms. Each fall, I've led groups of first- and/or second-year Masters Students, often in their first years of teaching, through rigorous inquiry of teaching practice, informed by scholarly articles in the field. Many of these teachers continue to teach and lead in independent, charter, and public schools; others have continue on to pursue academic careers in the field of Education.

    At the Athena Project, an Ed Tech startup with which I've been affiliated since 2015, I helped the director, Peter Nilsson, in drawing together teachers from around the United States to develop a professional memory for the teaching profession. Through weekly mentor meetings, one-on-ones with individual teaching fellows, and frequent website editing, I helped to manage a fast-growing resource for teachers young and old.

    In conjunction with founder Peter Nilsson, I recruited, managed, and oversaw Athena's yearly summer fellowship from start to finish. I guided a team of five mentors which included school administrators, experienced Athena participants, and a pioneering scholar affiliated with the African Diaspora Consortium, with whom Athena built a connection that continues to the present. I also worked to develop and synthesize participant feedback from our fifty fellows to create strategic action plans for the platform, including technological updates, an emerging membership model, and the construction of a sustainable editorial process for the site.
