Worked with a fantastic team on various high-profile architecturally-designed property developments, with project values ranging from $40m to $700m. Started as Assistant Development Manager in February 2014 in a role which grew rapidly in responsibility, including managing design across multiple projects. The role involved:- Design Excellence Competition management with the City of Sydney;- Management and coordination of large consultant teams;- Chairing design-team meetings;- Management, review and coordination of design, technical documentation and tender packages;- Preparation of feasibility and concept sketch designs to maximise site potential;- Preparation of design presentations for investors, council and state government to unite all stakeholders with a common vision and enliven project teams;- Interior design to ensure a unique market position;- Fittings, finishes and appliances selections and schedules;- Landscape architecture direction for functional and aesthetically pleasing external spaces;- Preparation and lodgement of various development applications, construction certificates and occupation certificates;- Managing display suite design and construction;- Managing marketing material including brochures, art-directing CGIs and animations;- Managing budgets and programmes and day-to-day project management.Projects included large scale mixed-use developments, a new town centre, high-rise residential and hotel developments, boutique hotels, heritage building conversions, affordable housing, education, student accommodation, commercial, and retail tenancies.

Design Manager for the Building Strategy & Planning team, helping create the Masterplan among other shorter-term projects to improve the way the House functions and increase public accessibility and involvement.

Worked directly with the Construction Managers on site to assist in the completion of 111 apartments across nine buildings, for which I was Project Architect since its conception in April 2010. I enjoyed working with an excellent team at Quasar to see this complex project through to completion.

Took on the role of Project Architect for a variety of mainly residential projects, from high-end houses to multi-unit developments.

Tutored and lectured at UNSW (the University of New South Wales) over various semesters and units for four years.

Worked on a range of airport projects for Qantas domestic terminals across Australia, including retail tenancies, food courts and club lounges. This involved the full range of architectural services, including Project Management in terms of Programmes, Cost Plans, and Contract Administration. Assisted with Sydney University, Veolia Bus Depot & Cronulla Sharks projects.

Worked on a range of mainly high-end private residential projects across all stages of work.

Thanks to a fantastic Director who supported and entrusted me with responsibility for specific projects, I gained experience in a wide variety of project types far beyond my level at that time. My experience here has been the foundation for my desire to always seek a challenge and I now thrive when multi-tasking.The role helped me to grow in confidence and I learned a great deal at this busy boutique practice.
