I love bringing people together to solve problems. I am currently working in the biofuels space, to support the mining sector journey to decarbonisation. This emerging space has helped me develop and utilise a variety of skills, from my technical engineering background, to commercial accumen and business strategy.I have spent a lot of my career in emerging fields and developing business capability. My past role as Program Lead for Process Enginering allowed me to demonstrate my stakeholder management skills, communication skills, and strategic thinking, to help the team ensure we achieve our priority improvements. It has also allowed me to demonstrate my ability to incorporate lasting change into the business and come up with embedding and assurance solutions, that tie the programs of work to business risk & capital.Prior to that, I had been working on developing a Management Operating System (MOS) within Iron Ore, learning and applying business improvement skills, and optimising & standardising "the way we work". I developed a broad systems skillset, having worked with, configured and supported a variety of control systems, historians and visualisation tools. Discovering new technologies, and the opportunities they bring, is something I always hope to be doing in my career. I also relish maximising the benefits of these opportunities, by working with the end user to optimise the design, integration and transition.Not one to shy away from the spotlight, I love leading people and teams, and I enthusiastically champion my team members and sing their praises to anyone who will listen. I find great pleasure in people development, mentoring and seeing people thrive, grow and succeed.
