I regularly appear in all State-level courts in Hampton Roads, with the majority of my experience in Criminal Defense, Litigation, Family Law and Traffic. I have a special interest in representing juveniles and their families as they navigate situations that are specific to a juvenile’s status in courts including as a Guardian ad litem as well as serving as counsel for children or parents in administrative appeals of CPS findings and disciplinary hearings in school settings. I am interested in furthering our understanding of juvenile development and how juveniles are impacted by trauma both previous to their involvement in the court system as well as the trauma that being court-involved causes to children and families.
