My specialization is in the application of biostatistics and economics to health outcomes research. I have conducted a range of investigations into cost of illness, disease prevalence and incidence, clinical and economic outcomes, treatment patterns, and treatment outcomes. My research has investigated a broad range of diseases and conditions in areas such as neurology, oncology, hematology, dermatology, gastroenterology, rheumatology, psychiatry, and cardiology/circulatory. I also have extensive experience performing systematic literature reviews, retrospective database analyses, retrospective medical chart review studies, and clinical trial data analyses with the use of multiple data sources, including claims databases (commercial insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, VA, DOD), clinical trial data, patient chart review data, and patient and physician surveys. My research has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals and presented in various scientific conferences.
