I am a Senior Genetic Counselor in the Institute for Genomic Health at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. I primarily work as a clinical researcher, focused on studying the implementation of genetic and genomic testing in diverse New York City populations. This has included work on several NHGRI-funded programs, such as the Clinical Sequencing Evidence-Generating Research (CSER) Consortium, the Electronic Medical Records and Genomics (eMERGE) Network, and the Human Pangenome Reference Consortium (HPRC). An active member of the National Society of Genetic Counselors, I am the Immediate Past Chair of the Position Statement Committee and was the Chair of the Research Special Interest Group (2021-2022). I also am a member of the Mount Sinai Clinical Ethics Committee, and served as the Co-Chair of the Education/Return of Results (ROR) working group for the CSER consortium (2022-2023).
