My professional journey has been rich and diverse, but my experiences are united by a common goal: to mentor students and equip them with the skills and mindset to become the next generation of leaders and changemakers.As CEO and Founder of Edvanta Consulting, I have spent the past decade helping international students successfully navigate the college admissions process. I believe in quality over quantity, and I pride myself on working closely with each and every student to become a lifelong mentor. Our students have been admitted to some of the best institutions in the world, including Oxbridge and Ivy League universities, but I believe a better measure of success is the number of students who have found a college or university that is the ideal environment for them to thrive and work towards their future goals.I'm also passionate about mentorship and skill-building for middle and high school students, and have consistently seen how those who start early benefit tremendously from the correct guidance and mentorship. Through our mentorship program, we support students in critical skill-building, exploring areas of interest, and connecting them to opportunities for them to excel and shine.A graduate of Kenyon College, I am a strong proponent of liberal arts education. To continue to educate myself and stay up to date on higher education’s ever-changing landscape, I am a professional member of IACAC (International Association for College Admission Counselling), AIIEC (All India Independent Education Consultants) and have completed a Post-graduate Certificate in College Counselling from Columbia University Teachers College. High-quality education counselling and guidance should be available to all. That’s why I have served as a college essay mentor to low-income students through College Essay Guy’s Matchlighters Scholarship Program, and lead workshops for school counsellors on the essay writing process with IC3 Institute.
