As a fourth-year Biomedical Sciences student at the University of Guelph, I am passionate about human health sciences and aspire to become an MD after completing my undergraduate degree. I have consistently maintained an 80%+ average in every semester, earning me six times the Dean's Honor List recognition.I have also gained valuable research experience as a research assistant at St. Joseph's Health Care London for the past two and a half years. I have helped develop the research protocol for a systematic review examining the upstaging rates of benign breast lesions to malignant, and reviewed over 150 scientific articles to extract and input data into REDCAP software for statistical analysis. In addition, I have recently joined the Big White Ski Resort Ltd as an emergency dispatcher, where I apply my first aid skills and inventory management abilities to ensure the safety and satisfaction of the guests and staff. Through these roles, I have developed my teamwork, organizational, and communication skills, as well as my curiosity and enthusiasm for medical research.
