Software Configuration Management
CurrentManage and maintain Software Configuration Standard Operating Procedures, Quality History Records, and guidance for companywide and project specific software configuration systems. Serve as a liaison between various departments and vendors regarding software configuration items. Responsible for identifying and documenting software configuration items to ensure reliability, accuracy, security and accessibility; and control changes to those items. Participate in periodic audits of software processes adherence to software plans and procedures. Ensure compliance with FDA, ISO, IEC standards and regulations. Create and maintain technical documentation (i.e. instructions on how to compile software, software delivery/release procedures, and Software Version Notices).Detail installation information for controlled build machines, record all software installed, and restrict process.Validate and administer companywide systems including Source Control system and dependency management. Champion best practices, and stewardship by constantly seeking to improve processes and solutions. Report on status of software builds, software deliveries, and validations across projects.Verified system change requests were traceable from code reviews to software releases.Coordinate formal software releases and documentation for Change Orders and Validation Readiness Reviews.Facilitate and track approved software deliveries inside and outside of DEKA. Serve as a “go to” person for all things related to software compliance and quality.
