Teaching Textiles, Fashion Merchandising, and Apparel Quality Analysis in the Fashion Design & Merchandising major in the Family and Consumer Sciences department.

Built collective platforms of 15k+ followers over YouTube, Instagram and TikTok with focus on motivating people to engage in secondhand fashion and education through the lens of fashion to broaden understanding of the interconnectedness of the fashion system with global issues.Worked with brands including Dossier, Visual Mood, GEM App, Ana Luisa, and many grassroots organization efforts such as Transfer student groups and Remake, a non-profit focused on advocating for policy change in the fashion industry.

As an assistant to the Parsons Fashion Study Collection, I help manage over 4,000 fashion objects while facilitating educational visits focused on fashion history, object based research, and garment research for fashion design and academic scholarship. Main responsibilities included cataloging and photographing objects, database management through excel and Past Perfect with the aims of increasing accessibility of the collection, object handling, condition reporting and intensive organizational efforts to overhaul the organization of the collection.

Leading two undergraduate courses in Intro to Fashion Studies where I am guiding 20+ sophomore-senior students per class in understanding the basics of fashion history and theory, and the field's relevance to their own work as both designers and academic students. In doing so, I am working on developing course materials to enhance learning experiences and reinforce reading and lecture concepts, evaluating student work including exams, assignments and papers in order to provide constructive feedback for student growth and success. In addition, I aim to stay at the forefront of fashion industry trends, news, and discoursers to enrich my teachings with current real-world examples and connections.

Lead two undergraduate courses on History of Fashion with Jonathan Michael Square and Intro to Fashion Studies with Anya Kurrenay.

Research assistant to Professor Hazel Clark at Parsons School of DesignWorked with MA Fashion Studies head faculty member on front matters for upcoming manuscript on Fashion in American Life. Reviewed chapters for consistency, handled and reviewed photograph figures, and formatted table of contents, author bios, list of figures and acknowledgements.Also assisted an independent research project for a forthcoming conference paper on care in fashion. Reviewed print and online resources, compiled a comprehensive bibliography, and organized research findings to support the faculty member's work.
