My passion and motivation is to create relationships and rapport with customers so I can provide them with the best health advice. My reward is to see the impact I have had on people and the difference I have made in all aspects of their life whether it be physical, mental or emotional health.My responsibilities include:- Dispensing and education of medicines to customers- Management of the medicare claims- Maintenance of the Schedule 8 drugs and register- Education and training of staff to maintain their knowledge within pharmacy

Standard pharmacist duties including dispensing and advising of medicines. Maintenance of registers and participation in government Pharmacy Practice Incentives such as clinical interventions.

As part of the Pharmacy Practice IV unit, during placement in Armadale Hospital pharmacy, I initiated and completed a project involving an audit of narcotics use in post-operative pain management. This work was a collaboration between Stephen Lim, the Chief Pharmacist, and myself with the aid of other hospital staff in data collection. The project was titled “Acute Post-Operative Pain Management Audit” and was published in poster presentation to be used as a resource by pharmacy and hospital staff.

Employed by Pathwest, a hospital based pathology as a medical scientist. Employed part-time in coagulation performing routine coagulation tests as well as certain special automated tests. I also performed certain other manual special tests.

Worked in the haematology department in a rotating on call roster. It rotates between the main haematology, blood bank and coagulation departments. The main aspects involve diagnostics of blood work, using specialized equipment and testing procedures.
