I have been in my current position of Coordinator, Certification Programs, at CTIA Certification since February 2024. As my first full-time position since graduating from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, in 2023, this role has enabled me to learn more about the wireless technology industry. My primary duties include maintaining two support inboxes, reviewing documents in our certification databases, and providing our clients and members access to our various certification platforms. In addition to my daily tasks, I also provide logistical support for our Certification Program Working Group Activities. In September 2024 I managed our week-long, face-to-face PTCRB Super Week meetings at CTIA headquarters for over 75 attendees. I coordinated seating arrangements, meeting spaces, technical set-up, budget, and order and delivery of catering orders for 11 meetings and a social event over the course of 5 days. This event was an essential opportunity for me to get to know representatives from important stakeholders in the wireless industry, such as Samsung, T-Mobile, AT&T, and more. Prior to my role at CTIA Certification, I worked in a temporary role as an HR Project Assistant for Kaiser Permanente's Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group. In this position I helped reorganize personnel files in accordance with the company's new filing system. I accurately sorted hundreds of highly sensitive documents on a daily basis and maintained strict confidentiality. Before my time at Kaiser, I completed a temporary assignment as a Project Assistant for the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. In my role as Project Assistant, I provided technical support and sent data verification inquiries to university administrators and professors. In addition, I documented the status of these communications and data updates in an Excel workbook. In June 2023 I graduated California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, Cum Laude, with a BA in Political Science. I made the Dean's list for five consecutive quarters leading up to graduation and maintained a 3.5 GPA.At the end of my junior year in university, I was promoted to Editor-in-Chief of Cal Poly's undergraduate political science journal, Paideia, where I interviewed and trained a staff of 15 political science students. In addition to managing the production and operations of the journal, my experience as Editor-in-Chief allowed me to take initiative, set reasonable goals, and prioritize tasks.
