    I modeled the energy yield of PV modules, wind turbines, and energy storage systems by leveraging Python libraries such as Numpy and Pandas to design an optimized renewable energy system. I analyzed how solar irradiation and wind supply vary across different months and their impact on power output. In order to determine the ideal setup, I tested 40 different wind turbine configurations, 40 PV module setups, and 20 battery capacity sizes to identify the optimal system for implementation in Traverse City, Michigan. Additionally, I calculated the levelized cost of energy and the coverage ratio for various renewable energy system configurations to assess the cost-effectiveness of maintaining this system and its ability to meet the city's power demands.
