As an EECS 376 IA, I lead weekly discussion sections, design lesson plans, hold 4 hours of office hours per week, and write/grade homework and exam problems, ensuring that they fairly and accurately assess the knowledge and understanding of over 800 students each semester. Course topics include algorithm design and analysis, computability, complexity, randomness in computation, and cryptography. Within these topics, some major things that we cover include: divide and conquer and dynamic programming algorithms, Big-O time complexity analysis, Turing Machines and Turing reductions, the classes and relationships between P, NP, and NP-Hard, how algorithms can benefit from randomness and how to analyze randomized algorithms, and applications of computational hardness to cryptography, specifically covering RSA and Diffie-Helman protocols.

I lead a team of 6 students in the development of the Theta Tau Theta Gamma website (my professional engineering fraternity), effectively delegating tasks, managing code reviews, and approving pull requests to ensure a cohesive and timely project completion, enhancing team productivity and website reliability.In my time as web committee head, we have developed a dynamic and responsive website using Next.js and Tailwind CSS, showcasing external information and serving as an engaging informational platform for visitors. We also implemented secure authentication middleware, utilizing cookies and Google OAuth with Supabase, to grant 600+ members exclusive access to upcoming events, new member requirement tracking, and organization resources. Within these internal resources, we have integrated robust search functionality allowing fraternity members to efficiently find and connect with brothers in the same classes, fostering a stronger sense of community and collaboration within the organization. Successfully managed and mentored a class of 16 students through a semester-long new member onboarding process in my professional engineering fraternity, ensuring seamless acclimation to the organization by imparting key knowledge on our rules and values, and preparing them to become integral members.

As the scribe of my professional engineering fraternity, I managed and maintained meeting notes and attendance records, played a pivotal role in the executive board to guarantee the organization's smooth operation, and spearheaded communication efforts to keep all members informed and engaged with our fraternity's events and activities.

I collaborated with 2 students, under the lead of P.h.D student mentor, to develop a python suite capable of analyzing measurements, gathered from organic scintillators, of fissioning radiation sources. We implemented Rossi-Alpha time difference, Feyman-Y variance-to-mean, and power spectral density algorithms capable of analyzing different data types through an interactive command line program.

I modeled the energy yield of PV modules, wind turbines, and energy storage systems by leveraging Python libraries such as Numpy and Pandas to design an optimized renewable energy system. I analyzed how solar irradiation and wind supply vary across different months and their impact on power output. In order to determine the ideal setup, I tested 40 different wind turbine configurations, 40 PV module setups, and 20 battery capacity sizes to identify the optimal system for implementation in Traverse City, Michigan. Additionally, I calculated the levelized cost of energy and the coverage ratio for various renewable energy system configurations to assess the cost-effectiveness of maintaining this system and its ability to meet the city's power demands.
