General Manager
Current- Create and calculate inventory of wine on a monthly basis- Create and calculate run-out report on wine vintages- Create reports on weekly and monthly sales- Create, design, and order labels for wine vintages- Knowledge of submitting labels with TTB- Knowledge of creating barcode and submitting labels with Virginia ABC- Knowledge of ordering bottles and all supplies regarding company bottlings- Experience in testing trials and creating new wine blends for company- Knowledge of applying for ABC licenses for special events- Meet with Virginia ABC agents and Dept. of Agriculture Health Specialists- Attend yearly Virginia Winery Association conferences and meetings- Work with distribution company on selling our wines to retail stores- Deliver orders to retail stores- Work with events and marketing manager to create in-house events- Order and manage inventory of merchandise - Create staff schedule on a monthly basis- Create meeting agendas and lead monthly meetings with staff- Oversee and manage the hiring process- Serve tastings to customers - Create tastings notes for company's wines- Handle reservations for large groups- Knowledge of POS systems: Square, Squarespace Commerce, Stripe, Paypal- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Photoshop, and Constant Contact- Knowledge of retail sales- Send and complete paperwork for charitable donations- Update company website- Experience in working in the vineyard with Vineyard Manager
