Began in the Environmental Services Department. Cleaned and sanatized various parts of the hospital. The Emergency Department liked my attention to detailed cleaning so much they wanted me put in their area permanently. While cleaning in the Imaging Services Area in the supervisor's office, she told me about an Imaging Office Assistant job which was available and encouraged me to apply. I did so & was hired on in the new department, where we managed xray files, checked patients in, and hung films for the radiologists. I was a floater, who worked in the inpatient, outpatient, Imaging (cts, nuclear medicine, EKGs, EEGs), and MRI areas. The most memorable departmental meeting here was the one in which the different departments were arguing (nicely) that they wanted me in their department that day.
