I am a second year PhD student under the BBSRC Doctoral Training Partnership at the University of Nottingham. I have joined the Mitolab under the supervision of Lisa Chakrabarti at the School of Veterinary Medicine and Science. My research is centred around mitochondria, metabolism and pharmacology.Beyond my research, I am keen to advocate for improving the experience of neurodiverse students in academia. I have written a blog post and social media posts for Women in Neuroscience UK about my experience as a neurodiverse PhD student and I have recently joined the team at WiNUK as a Senior Content Creator. Previously, I did my Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science at the University of Warwick, and my Masters in Research in Neuroscience at the University of Leeds.
