As a Software Engineer I at Upland Adestra, I primarily work in the back-end side of Perl code to create new and exciting features for our customers on the Adestra platform, as well as ensure that they have a continued smooth experience with existing functionalities.You might notice that I lived in, and obtained both of my degrees from, the US before moving to the UK; the relocation has improved my development skills by immersing me in a new coding culture, allowing me the opportunity to expand my skillset through access to new projects and techniques.Other expertise includes PostgreSQL/ mySQL, REST/ XMLRPC APIs, and Moose. I also have familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript from previous full-stack experience, as well.In my free time, I like to crochet, knit, garden, bake, and watch old British sitcoms (my favourite being "The Good Life").
