•Responsible for the academic and pastoral well-being of 60 Year 9 Girls•Handle a range of challenges that the girls face and regularly have meetings with the girls to resolve issues•Have daily contact with parents (over the phone and face to face). Within the first few weeks, a parent emailed the Deputy Head complimenting the way that I am able to interact with both parents and students•Able to juggle this role alongside teaching English to a high standard (including teaching five GCSE classes)

•Taught two GCSE classes AQA English Language and English Literature•Foundation Project Coordinator – ran the AQA Foundation Project for high potential students in Years 7 & 8. Had weekly meetings with pupils to check progress and ran support sessions•Ran Creative Writing Club – weekly commitment whereby a group of students partook in creative writing activities which I organised•Year 7 Form Tutor – was responsible for a class of students who entered the Secondary School that year; had regular contact with parents on a number of pastoral and academic issues•Library Coordinator – liaised with the Librarian regarding visits to the library and literacy events

•Ran graduate and internship recruitment cycles which involved managing the screening, short listing and interviewing of candidates; was the key contact for gap years, interns and graduates when they joined•Managed the ‘Recruitment Coordinator’; this involved maintaining a professional and productive working relationship, delegating work and enabling her to take on projects•Co-led three global initiatives: re-launching the recruitment website, launching a global brochure and a global recruitment system •Provided induction for new joiners and arranged their training programmes with external providers •Responsible for marketing through agencies and universities•Involved in extra activities outside of role which included being a member of the HR Social Committee
