As the secretary for the UNC Charlotte chapter of AIAS I am in charge of keeping the chapter organized. The typical requirements are to take minutes at all meetings and distribute them, reserve spaces and materials for event and meetings, and help plan and organize events as an active member of the board.

During my summer at Gensler I had the opportunity to work on many different projects with many different people. The majority of the work I did was done on Revit fixing up details, taking 3d views to render, drawing design options, and doing furniture layouts. I also worked a lot with Adobe Suites, primarily Photoshop and InDesign to create interior renderings for a DD Package as well as compile all drawings and information in the DD package for the client. As part of the Intern team I was able to work with my fellow interns on our own project, allowing us to be in charge of our own design and process while also researching the firm, giving us an in-depth look at how it operates.

Drew construction drawings using autocad for tenant up-fits. Worked with clients, construction manager, subcontractors and manufacturers to coordinate clients needs and see them through the construction process. Obtained building permits from city officials.
