As a Transplant Assistant at Tampa General Hospital, I support a team of nurses in providing quality care to patients who undergo organ transplantation. I handle administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, updating records, and coordinating with insurance companies, as well as patient relations, such as communicating with donors and recipients, educating them on the process and procedures, and addressing their concerns and feedback.I have a strong background in customer service and hospitality, having worked as a bartender, server, and manager at Outback Steakhouse for over two years. I developed skills in point of sale (POS) systems, inventory management, and staff training, as well as interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. I also hold a Mental Health First Aid certification from Tampa General Hospital, which enables me to assist patients and colleagues in coping with stress and emotional issues. I am passionate about helping people and making a positive difference in their lives. I pursued an Associate's degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies at Hillsborough Community College, where I learned about various media platforms, communication theories, and I am eager to learn new skills and take on new challenges in the healthcare field, and am looking for opportunities to grow and advance in my career.
