Leads Software Services Team in improving the end-user productivity and efficiency through the support and enhancement of the Enterprise Business System and its interfaces to other products. Direct and oversee the activities of the Concordia University Information System (CAIS) Service Center, which serves a consortium of 8 colleges and universities of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. Coordinate with the campus CIOs to prioritize, plan and implement various administrative software. Encourage collaboration between schools. Develop and manage budget, cost allocation and billing, and strategic plan. Participate in system-wide contract negotiations and oversight. Oversee service center staff and operations.

Coordinated the collaborative efforts at each of the schools to implement and enhance the administrative system. Serve as consultant for seven different schools to analyze systemic problems and to identify new and existing solutions to meet the needs of users at all levels. Analyze, design, and coordinate software projects to enhance and streamline business processes. This involves much scholarly activity, including research on new technologies; investigation on how the existing and new systems would work; developing, executing, and monitoring plans to migrate between the systems; communicating the status of projects through written reports and oral presentations.

Project planning and technical assistance to 10 colleges and universities with conversion to a new suite of administrative software.

Responsible for the development, maintenance, and client and technical support of a suite of administrative software products for higher education institution used by ten colleges and universities. These products include Registration, Admissions, Financial Aid, and Student Housing. Managed a staff of two full-time and three part-time programmers and one full-time client services specialist. Responsible for the development, maintenance, and technical support of product support utility programs such as menu and security access, report scheduler, and word processing utilities. Responsible for the development, maintenance, and technical support of a Financial Accounting Package used by six schools and non-profit organizations. Planned and supervised a major conversion from UNIVAC hardware to VAX/VMS. Supervised one full-time and two part-time programmers.
