About Katherine Rollins

I am a published author, and digital creator. My moniker, TheHighHeeledGamer, has allowed me to grow my wonderful community to just over 20,000 people across all my social media platforms. For the past 12 years, I have interviewed video game, comic book, and cosplay creators from all walks of life and every level in the industry. My show, The Late-Night Nerd Show, provides a platform for creators to share their life stories and the projects they are working on. Writing is a passion of mine, and I have always enjoyed conversing with people, so journalism is a perfect fit. I wanted to focus on the video game industry, but as I started attending conventions and meeting new people, I realized that I wanted to extend my focus to encompass video games, comic books, and cosplayers, and thus, The Late-Night Nerd Show was born. I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Media Communications and my Master's in Journalism at Full Sail University. For the past 3 years I have helped small businesses and brands understand and grow on social media, mainly on, TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. I aim to bring stories that might be left untold to the forefront—working with companies that value real people, real stories, and real life.
