Katherine Rutecki is a multidisciplinary artist who specializes in glass sculpture, she also creates work bronze, cast iron, drawing and painting, and performance art. Rutecki has recently received her Masters of Fine Art in Glass from Southern Illinois University, she holds her BFA in sculpture from New York School of Art and Design at Alfred University. Rutecki has been involved in several international group exhibitions, taking place at venues such as the New Orleans Museum of Art, and the Ebeltoft Glass Museum in Denmark and solo exhibitions in Seattle, Washington and Auckland, New Zealand. Rutecki has work in public collections in New Zealand and internationally, and has also taught widely both through workshops and at university level.

Katrina Kerr has a B.Des in Interior Design from UNITEC, Auckland. With a fascination in the history of architecture and objects, she now works in the field of antiques and antiquity, which informs her collaborative work for Ghastly and solo ceramic practice. Ghastly has been working for fouryears in both material research and in the development of our candelabra forms. Ghastly works are included in private collections in both New Zealand and Australia.
