Private practice optometrist with 32+ years of expertise in primary care optometry with an emphasis in physiological optics and ocular physiology. I have a particular interest in prescribing specialty contact lens treatments and managing ocular disease.My expertise lies in practice management, patient communication and educating patients as to advances in nutritional and preventative eye care as well as the advancement of lens and frame technologies. My staff has been well-trained and shares my expertise in compassionate care as well as the precise fitting measurement and dispensing of ophthalmic eyewear. I am a competitive ski racer and in 2015 was awarded the Far West Ski Association safety person of the year award, for educating skiers and snowboarders as to the importance of UV protection in the prevention of ocular damage caused by UV exposure. I was selected as the Bay Area Snow Sports Council Woman of the Year in 2017. I received my Professional Ski Instructor Certification in 2017 and second Senior Alpine Certification in 2019. I am thrilled to share my passion for skiing with others.
