I have taught in a number of Staffordshire schools since qualifying as a teacher in 1996 in both a full time and part time capacity. I have experience of teaching in both KS1 and KS2, as well as in mixed age classes. I have over a decades experience of working in Early Years and was a Foundation Stage manager for 5 years.Over the years I have been school lead for Literacy, P.E., Maths, Computing, History and Geography and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead.I am the Managing Director of Backpack Phonics, a company that specialises in cross-curricular Phonics and P.E. The company designs games which help children to practise, consolidate and master their phonics whilst developing EYFS and KS1 PE skills.
