I am a kind, caring and confident dentist with extremely strong communication skills which I can easily adapt throughout different patient bases. I am very passionate about dentistry and always look forward to exciting new challenges that are presented to me.I am currently working as a Band B Community Dental Officer within the Rotherham Foundation trust. This allows me to work across multiple sites, including outlying clinics, and treat a wide variety of patients referred into our CDS from surrounding general practices, care homes and social services. My role as a Senior Dental Officer involves providing care for referred patients including paediatric (behavioural management, learning difficulties, trauma, medical and social services) and adult patients (complex co-morbidities including those people with additional needs, a learning disability and/or mental health problems; and frail older people). This role gives me great insight into the treatment requirements of patients with increased need, anxiety, communication problems and cognitive impairments.
