I have been in various roles Alberta Health Services throughout my career.My previous role is Provincial Supervisor HIM Provider Management team. Responsible for a team of 15+ members, training new procedures, ensuring data quality of the information entered in, creating and documentation of processes and working with various stakeholders.Previously Supervisor for the Client Data Integrity team ensuring issues with patient records were remediated in a timely manner and accordingly to provincial processes.I worked as a Coding Specialist at the Royal Alexandra Hospital assigning CIHI codes to a patient’s diagnosis and procedures into the abstracting system for compensation purposes.
