I was recently a sales representative for Aflac. I generated most of my clients through cold calls and warm leads; My jobs focus was on superior customer service and customer satisfaction. As an independent agent, I created and owned my business: organized my schedule, set my meetings and made sure the satisfaction of my clients was priority.

Assist the Print Department Agent with model bookings and appointments; answer phones, file, update schedules, and perform internet based research.

Worked with international students between the ages of 5 and 10 years-old in an after school program and summer camp. Most activities were interactive and engage the students in the French language to bridge the language barrier. Also helped periodically with the older students with their homework as an after school study hour.

Worked closely with the Event Coordinator, Publicist, and the Director of Marketing and Operations. I helped coordinate events such as Cans Fest, an outdoor music festival, where Vanilla Ice and C&C Music Factory performed. I created and maintained a catalogue of past advertisements and clippings for each of the venues and talent involved with the company. I also introduced the company to Facebook, and created and maintained each of the venues profiles. Venues include: Cans Bar and Canteen (Milwaukee, Chicago), Salud Tequila Lounge, EvilOlive, The Drawing Room, Le Passage and Juniors Sports Lounge.

As part of my internship I worked closely with the editor, publicist and subscription manager. As part of my leadership role, I lead the VenusZine interns to Milwaukee’s Arts and Crafts fair for a sales and promotional booth for the Zine. Towards the end of my internship I contributed to Chicago Agent and Miami Agent Magazine by writing real estate profiles of up and coming areas and cities both domestic and abroad.
