About ten years ago, I stumbled into my first partnerships role - I was straight out of college, and I was actually interviewing for a search position. When I was asked if I would potentially be interested in an affiliate marketing role instead, I quickly Googled "what is affiliate marketing" and said yes. I loved it. Fostering symbiotic relationships for win-win situations is basically my dream job (I mean, aside from being a well-funded travel blogger).
