• Key member of the team in the relaunch the website in September 2019. A 10-month-long project which saw www.thecaterer.com move from a free-to-use website, to subscription-led website as well as a new content management system. I worked alongside the editor and the development team, in the planning and testing phase of the project, and since launch provided training and support to the editorial team in the new systems and publishing schedule.• Manage the day-to-day running of the website www.thecaterer.com including posting news and management of top news stories, slot management, image management and ensuring that all content follows SEO best practice.• Keep social media channels on-message and up-to-date, optimise all campaigns to ensure they are successfully executed.• Monitor and track analytics and build reports.• Work closely with the art department to maintain creative standards across all social media channels.• Develop and implement new social media campaign guidelines.• Responsible for creating and sending a daily news newsletter to a database of 32,000 subscribers; creating and sending CHEF newsletter aimed at chefs to 8,000 subscribers; and creating and sending bespoke event and product newsletters to 12,000 subscribers.• Head up events such as the Chef Eats Out – role included create online entry forms, all bespoke web inventory and newsletters as well online promotion via our social channels. I managed all entries, liaised with restaurants and guests that have booked and managed table planning and running order for the day.• Create ad-hoc bespoke web advertising inventory for both internal and external clients.• Create content for the print and online magazine, such as restaurant reviews, news and features• Co-ordinated the upgrade and release of an improved content management system, the first in 10 years in 2012, again acting as a link between the IT department and the editorial team.
