"I believe everyone can learn to paint just like everyone can learn to read!" I teach the monthly Mom/Dad & Me Watercolor class @ the Aliso Viejo Library. This is a fun popular class and I average 30 to 40 students in each class, children in the class age from 3 to 10. In each class I teach the parents & kids how to paint a character. We have painted chameleons, monsters, bats, turkeys, fish, spiders and all types of other characters. I encourage the students to try all the colors of paint and to use brushes of different sizes.

In July/August summer evenings you will find me in the Fine Arts Building at the OC Fair. I am the person in the middle of the building speaking on the microphone teaching the audience a basic art lesson. Last summer I worked in the children's building where I demonstrated how to painted a mural with recycled house paint. The completed mural was donated to CHOC Children's Hospital of Orange and is now framed and has a home in the lobby of the Ambulatory Care Clinic. Photo of mural is attached.

Managed the on-site paper & pencil exam set up process, the international exam set-up process with the US Military nurses stationed internationally in Germany, Japan & Afghanistan. Managed the retroactive renewal process, which applied to nurses who sent in incorrect documents or who missed their certification renewal dates. Explained the renewal & the initial exam audit process to nurses selected for audit. Resolved missing payments & applications for certification exams and certification renewal fees, responded to email questions regarding certification. Proof read letters to customers, corrected database errors related to certification dates and duplicate records. Collaborated with Customer Care Department to resolve problems with upset customers regarding certification. Back up for weekly exam download. For 3 years I was one of the Home Team coordinators responsible for organizing company wide team activities and exercises to develop the group and individual morale for the staff during the week of AACN’s National Conference.

Recruited employers to hire clients. Matched and placed clients in jobs and negotiated contracts. Hired, trained, and supervised staff. Resolved conflicts and responded to emergency calls. Public speaking and grant management.3. TRAINING COORDINATOR EMPLOYEMNT/HOUSING Orange County Regional Center, Santa Ana CA (same company as Lanterman Regional Center) 5/1996 to 5/1999 Public Speaker who educated clients, families and case managers about state laws pertaining to individuals with disabilities and their rights to accessible housing and employment. Public speaker at community events. Designed training manuals & flyers. Chaired two agency teams that resolved complex client problems related to housing and employment. Community liaison to 53 employment agencies specializing in jobs for the disabled. Organized and co-coordinated the annual formal dinner dance awards ceremony with over 700+ attendees.
