In this role with Pensacon, I handle media trades and purchases, write and distribute press releases, and coordinate local media interviews with our incoming guests for each event. I am responsible for sponsorship acquisition and retention, managing contracts for sponsors and partners, creating documentation to apply for grant funds from local government, managing the marketing budget for in-market and out-of-market advertising, submitting documentation post-event to researchers, and submitting post-show grant paperwork for reimbursement. Additionally, I screen all media pass requests for the event, approve and deny requests for access and interviews, and manage submitted media from those approved post-show.

Process rentals, season pass pickup, daily ticket sales, specialty programs, ski and ride school, and other special event products. Seasonal Position. Check guests in and out of hotel, respond to needs as requested, including suggesting and setting up excursions. Make reservations and take payment, both over the phone and face to face. Enter reservations from multiple manifests delivered through third party sellers. Maintain room block via online booking agents Expedia.com and Booking.com. Pre-block rooms based upon tour arrivals and independent arrivals. Complete weekly billing.
