Ms. Blue provides strategic advisement to clients on climate change, including regulatory interpretation and scenario planning, mitigation strategy development, completion of corporate GHG inventories, data management solutions for GHG, advisement on offset projects, and advisement on public reporting of GHGs. In the climate change arena, Ms. Blue has supported clients in the power/utility, integrated oil and gas, consumer products, agricultural products, telecommunications, glass manufacturing, and landfill gas to energy companies. Specifically, Ms. Blue assists clients with creating high quality, verifiable GHG inventories in accordance with accepted GHG protocols and standards, including the WRI/WBCSD GHG Protocol, The Climate Registry, the California Climate Action Registry and ISO 14064:1. For mandatory programs, Ms. Blue has consulted to clients on EPA GHG Mandatory Reporting Rule and has taught seminars and webinars to over 700 clients on compliance with the rule. Furthermore, she is experienced with AB32 compliance requirements.Ms. Blue also helps companies identify and quantify GHG emission reductions and implement enterprise wide data management solutions for tracking climate and energy related data. Ms. Blue has also advised clients on strategies for transacting emission reductions, purchasing carbon offsets and creating and managing Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs). Finally, Ms. Blue has provided advisement on climate change issues for corporate acquisitions.Ms. Blue instructs Trinity’s Fundamentals of Organizational GHG Accounting course, which is offered three times per year to environmental professionals. Ms. Blue also instructs the annual AWMA course on GHG Emissions Management. Ms. Blue has presented on myriad climate change topics at both national and state level climate change conferences as well as trade association meetings on climate change and business sustainability topics.
