As a Grant Advisor at Sustrans Scotland, I support the delivery of best practice active travel infrastructure to build happier and healthier places throughout Scotland. I review and influence designs to meet best practice technical standards, as well as building in thorough plans and actions for community engagement and behaviour change. To achieve a holistic and sustainably connected future, I work closely with local authorities and community groups through a collaborative and engaging approach.

As an Infrastructure Officer for Sustrans, I monitor and support the delivery of a number of cycling, walking, and wheeling infrastructure projects of varying sizes that are being delivered by local authorities and other partners across Scotland. In doing so, I assist in Sustrans's mission of creating Places for Everyone, restoring the balance of Scotland’s streets in favour of people walking and cycling, and setting new standards for best-practice design, engagement and behaviour change.
