Leader; Service Unit Manager; Camp Director
CurrentA portion of my experience is derived from working with young girls, parents, peer leaders, and the Girl Scouts of Silver Sage Council (GSSSC). For the past 5 years: - I use leadership skills, instructional design, project based-learning, and a variety of resources to create a unique experience for girls in my community. - I communicate regularly with parents about activities, upcoming events, how girls are developing and achieving their goals, and to gather support to assist in the functioning of our multi-level troop. - I use all phases of project management: planning, coordinating, identifying and obtaining resources, managing teams, budgeting, and executing and assessing programs to develop both my service unit and troop. - I coordinate with GSSSC to facilitate week long Leadership Journey day camps for girls 2nd - 5th grade. They discover, connect, and take action in their communities to build courage, confidence, and character to make the world a better place.
