Here I work as a marine biologist assisting with projects including;Douglas Shoal Environmental Remediation Project for the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority,Climate adaption within NSW Marine Protected Areas for the NSW Government,Coral Restoration for the Gladstone Ports Corporation, and,Environmental Monitoring (including Marine Pest inspections).

Within this role I was a research assistant to Dr Michaela Miller to aid in the exploration of microplastic ingestion by different filter feeding organisms. This involved me independently working in the AIMS laboratories conducting and working on digestions, microplastic filtrations.

I will also be excitingly assisting with research on assessing the impact of Parrotfish bio-erosion and how parrotfish remotion would impact reef bioerosion rates.
