I am passionate about giving life to people's stories. I truly believe everyone has a story that is worth sharing whether that is one-on-one or to the world. I began my career in journalism following my passion for photography and story-telling. I have worked my way through the ranks starting as a camera operator, floor director, graphics, sound and master control operator. While being paid to run the behind the scenes of newscasts I would also be out on assignment all day shooting, writing and editing my own stories for the same newscasts. Teaming my real-life knowledge with what I'd learned in the classroom prepared me to then take on the role of Morning Newscast Producer. It is not a desired position by many and one that really makes you learn whether or not you are truly passionate about your work. While taxing it helped me to see that my passion had grown from not just telling people's stories but to also being the one people turn to for the news that matters.My best assets that I bring to any position are my abilities to plan, organize and make decisions under tight deadlines. My attention to detail is a valuable asset in any position from capturing beautiful video, investigating stories to producing a smooth show. I will always strive to make our final product the absolute best and always better than the day before.A few fun things to know about me: I'm a lefty, I've stepped foot on 5 of 7 continents and as a child a was on a trivia team solely about dogs.
