I have been fortunate to help build and lead a team of excellent educators with the drive and creativity to embrace recent developments in research driven MFL teaching methodology with a focus on real world communication, this with the ongoing development of hybrid teaching methodologies, has made these recent years an exciting time for the collective teaching practice within the faculty.

In 2013 I founded a small business running group and individual language classes for adults, focused on the enjoyment of language learning, with a relaxed approach, communication and fun at the heart of the courses.

Between 2007 and 2015 I was lucky enough to work at Hayle Community School during the time that it enjoyed specialist language college status. It was a large and vibrant department offering pupils experience in French, Spanish, German, Mandarin and Cornish. I worked on many MFL focused, enterprise events for our young people, working with the local business community. I also had a lead role in developing language projects with organisations such as the Picasso Museum in Malaga and Cornwall Outdoor Education Centre. During this time, as well as teaching French and Spanish, I also taught Business Studies.

Coaching in theory and practical skills, from one off lessons to intensive courses. I have also spent time as a Volunteer Surf Coach for local not for profit organisations.
