Accomplishments include: • Led two focus groups to inform the creation of a socio-economic valuation survey and an exhibit. • Designed and administered 100 questionnaires and 36 interviews to measure perception changes. SCIENCE COMMUNICATION & INTERPRETATION: Used Adobe Premiere Pro and Illustrator to distill highly technical deep-sea science into a three-part exhibit at the Hatfield Marine Science Center which welcomes 150,000 visitors annually.LABORATORY MANAGEMENT: Jointly responsible for coordinating lab hours and activities, supervising two undergraduate lab assistants, supply purchasing, and amplifying 600 DNA samples.
