In doing so, I assess the physical condition of the books, create bibliographic records for the published material, and itemize the records onto the university's database.

As an intern, I curated a temporary exhibition on the leisure time activities of the men who sailed on RRS Discovery to the Antarctic. For the exhibition, I developed interpretation materials for the exhibition and installed the objects into display cases and worked with the collections curator to implement collection management practices, such as pest management, object handling, and collection auditing.

As a Residence Hall Director, I managed 300 students by providing for their welfare, encouraging their personal growth, and enforcing all of Truman State University and Residence Life's policies. In addition, I supervised a staff of ten Student Advisors and ensured they met their job expectations while developing their own professional skills. As the Hall Director, I maintained a yearly budget for the hall while also making decisions about facilities repairs, supplies for student staff members, technology peripherals, travel expenditures, and other miscellaneous expenses.
