I manage two teams, both delivering features to the customers on our Core software. This role involves lots of training on the software and sharing my knowledge across different teams. When i'm not training or reviewing requirements for the team, i'm still heavily involved in the performance testing of our Core software and developing new tests for the pipeline.

Furthered my career in performance testing and focussed on a new project (Hypermodels) where the need for performance testing was critical. Expanded on my knowledge of memory profiling and GC mechanics in Java to help write targeted tests for specific areas of concern.

Moved to a software engineer role, to focus on performance test engineering. Written in JMeter (and Groovy), these tests verify that we hadn't introduced a performance regression in Anaplan Core. As part of this I also developed a Jenkins pipeline to run these tests downstream of our Core builds, and flag if any test reported a statistically significant difference between develop and production (statistical significance done using inferential statistics run as part of the job).

In Anaplan I have worked on four teams; Modelling Usability, Modelling Functionality, Core Server, and ALM. For these teams I have worked on mostly server-side features (written in Java) to ensure they pass according to the acceptance criteria. I have written and reviewed both automated test cases (a Selenium-based Java framework and server functional tests written in Java) and manual tests. - Responsibilities -At Anaplan I have the following responsibilities;* Server Team Scrum Master, managing the planning and retrospective of sprints, as well as day-to-day tasks.* Writing and reviewing both unit/functional tests in Java, and Selenium tests in a Selenium Framework in Java.* API testing through Postman.* Writing and reviewing test cases against Acceptance Criteria.* Logging tickets in JIRA.* Cross-browser (IE, Firefox, Chrome, and Safari) and cross-device (Apple iPad, Microsoft Surface, Android) for both feature and regression testing.* Gathering performance and other metrics through Jmeter, tailing the logs, and Splunk.* Intercepting traffic between the client and the server using Burp and other tools.
