One of the greatest complements I ever received at work came from a prospective buyer after completing my demo. She looked at me and said, "No offense, but I really like that you're not a salesperson". I was immediately filled with pride because she didn't realize her statement was actually my work mantra. Throughout my years in sales my main goal has never been to sell clients my products but to sell them on who I am and the support I will provide to them.I have always carried the passion to provide others with the support and resources they need to be successful. As a Business Development Manager, I build relationships with prospective clients as well as assist in the consistent growth of our current partnerships. By creating and maintaining trust with my accounts I can fully understand their goals and help them to achieve their vision. My job isn't to sell but to create an environment where our clients feel heard, understood, and cared for.
