Leadership Jacksonville educates established and emerging leaders about our community’s key issues, connects program participants with a vibrant and diverse network of leaders and community partners, and inspires participants to build and strengthen their communities.Leadership Jacksonville’s programs explore the dynamics of the Jacksonville community, analyzing major areas of community concern, facilitating the development of leadership capacities and promoting a strong network of community trustees.The programs cover topics including in depth reviews of Jacksonville history, local government and political insight, economic development, business outlook, technology growth, local education, environmental sustainability, arts, infrastructure, poverty, growth forecast, health care issues and much more. All programs are developed and shaped by teams of Leadership Jacksonville alumni and staff.Leadership Jacksonville is a yearlong program that challenges adult leaders from diverse sectors of the community to develop a heightened understanding of our community’s key issues and how they can work together to improve them.

Provide leadership for a large, complex outreach program for prominent children's hospital, working in close concert with over 120 physicians and their staffs to promote their services across a multi-county region encompassing North, Central and Western Florida as well as Southeast Georgia.Play key role in promoting brand awareness including hands-on management of all marketing and public relations activities, plus the hosting of multiple educational events and seminars to connect with community organizations.Write business plans, foster partnership affiliations and hospital-to-hospital transfer agreements, create and deliver presentations, and prepare monthly sales reports, forecasting and strategic analyses for the President and COO.Notable Achievement:•In a stand-alone management position directing two major revenue programs and despite owning less than 2% of regional market, consistently meet or exceed revenue generation and market penetration goals.While performing the duties of Regional Outreach Manager, simultaneously serve as key spokesperson and pro-active business manager of a regional healthcare initiative designed to promote specialty outpatient services, and establish referral patterns.Decision-maker in selecting/leasing office buildings for new satellite offices; work with innumerable vendors/suppliers to furnish, decorate and equip new facilities, from carpets to computers; also recruit, hire and train the Medical Office Coordinator for each new facility.Coordinate and develop relationships with media including press, radio and television to advertise and promote brand awareness.Communicate almost daily with dozens of physicians and senior healthcare officials to keep them up to date and solicit their ideas and cooperation.Notable Achievement:Established new 5,300 sq.ft. satellite multi-specialty center in Lake City, FL (a $365,000 project), and currently planning 3 additional, two in Florida, and one in Georgia.

Established & managed relationships among senior level administration, medical staff and community representatives to promote Baptist Health; facilitating physician referrals covering 4 adult hospitals in surrounding 5 county areas. Managed outpatient volume for system-wide service lines, marketing physicians and specialists, using physician-to-physician relationship building, referral development and education;Produced extensive volume campaign report, for senior administration, across the hospital system; to evaluate and summarize marketing tactics used to increase physician referrals;Championed first time Breast Health professional presentations; to physician offices, patients and office staff to educate and train. Created and established annual events to develop relationships and business opportunities between Baptist Medical Center Beaches, the medical commnunity and consumers.Worked effectively with finance to identify and build systems to capture physician referral data, to ensure programs remained effective.Developed, managed and maintained exceptional professional relationships within the medical community throughout the Jacksonville, MSA 5 County area.
