The organization focuses on driving equitable economic growth in underserved areas by providing impact-driven lending and programs to grow businesses and revitalize places. Bridgeway Capital is a certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) given by the CDFI Fund under the U.S. Department of the Treasury.

Grounded Strategies (formerly GTECH) improves the social, economic, and environmental health of distressed and transitional communities by building capacity to reclaim vacant and underutilized land.

The Coro Fellows Program in Public Affairs is a full-time, nine-month, intensive graduate-level training. It provides opportunities for recent college graduates from around the world to explore a variety of professional and leadership opportunities in Pittsburgh while conducting an individual strategic plan for their own growth as leaders. Rooted in values-based leadership and adaptive leadership, the Coro Fellows program has five key components; leadership development seminars, work placements with multi-sector partners, civic strategy sessions on community issues, an individual strategic plan, work style assessments using StrengthsFinder and DiSC, mentoring and professional coaching.

The Regional Internship Center of Southwestern PA (RIC) strives to increase the number of organizations in southwestern Pennsylvania offering internships by actively working with employers to develop programs and connect them with potential interns. Through multiple programs that educate, engage and connect employers and internship seekers in southwestern Pennsylvania, the RIC provides both groups a solid advantage in today’s competitive marketplace.

The Mattress Factory is a museum of contemporary art that presents art you can get into — room-sized environments, created by in-residence artists. Located in the historic Mexican War Streets of Pittsburgh’s North Side since 1977, the Mattress Factory is one of few museums of its kind anywhere.

The Mon Valley Unemployed Committee, a non-profit organization is dedicated to helping unemployed and dislocated workers gain access to the tools they need to remake their lives, in addition to targeting issue campaigns around affected people for social justice and economic change.

The Andy Warhol Museum is a contemporary art museum and home to an extensive permenant collection of Andy Warhol's work. As a gallery attendant I provided a customized visitor service experience by providing information about the artists and exhibits while monitoring the galleries.

Sprout Public Art improves the image and visual landscape of Pittsburgh and surrounding communities by facilitating the creation of high-quality works of art. The program provides an entry point for artists to become involved and engaged in their region’s growth, encourages dialogue between communities and artists, and raises awareness about the vital role artists can play in shaping the community. From 2003 to 2010, Sprout Public Art fostered collaboration between artists and neighborhood community groups through a collaborative dialogue and design process. During this time, I created two murals for the Public Art Program in the neighborhoods of Shadyside and Sheridan.
